How we work

Every number comes from data

Prices, HP, attack costs, rarity and set details are read from data files that our collectors build. We do not type figures into pages by hand, so a card page cannot drift away from the data behind it.

We say what we do not know

When a value is not in our data, we hide that part of the page instead of showing a blank box or an estimate. TCG Grail publishes no guessed prices and no invented rarity odds.

Every price carries its date

Card values move, so each price we show is stamped with the day it was collected. You can always see how fresh a figure is before you rely on it.

We do not sell cards

TCG Grail is an information site. We hold no inventory, we take no listings, and no seller can pay to change a price or a ranking on this site.

Step 1 — Collect
Our collectors pull card facts from open card databases and daily price points from a public marketplace price archive.

Step 2 — Build the data file
The collected values are written into a single data file for each card. That file is the only place a number lives.

Step 3 — Generate the page
A page generator reads the data file and fills the page. Sections with no data are folded away rather than left empty.

Step 4 — Review
TCG Grail Editorial checks the generated pages for wrong figures, broken sections and misleading wording before they go live.

Step 5 — Refresh
When prices move we rebuild the data file and the pages follow. Corrections you send us are handled the same way.
